Building and ductwork airtightness workshop at the Clima 2016 Conference
The joint CLIMA 2016 and the 12th REHVA Conference will be held in Aalborg, Denmark on 22-25 May 2016. A specific session dealing with building & ductwork airtightness is organised by TightVent Europe in cooperation with the Air Infiltration and Ventilation Centre (AIVC) and the QUALICheCK project. The session will take place in Aalborg Congress & Culture Centre meeting room 10, on Tuesday, May 24 from 11:00 to 12:30.
The title of the workshop is: “Building and ductwork airtightness: what has changed in the past 5 years, what is likely to change in the next 5 years?” with the objective to discuss the major developments regarding building and ductwork airtightness in the past five years and the expected changes in the near future.
The following specific questions will be addressed:
- What is the status on the ground, including the analysis of large datasets and the feedback of approaches to quality and compliance?
- What are the knowledge gaps on the durability of seals and moisture management?
- Is ductwork airtightness likely to receive more attention in the future?
The session is intended for all stakeholders interested in improving this field of research, including industry, policy makers, practitioners, technicians and scientists.
