Building airtightness improvements in the French building stock
During the TightVent-AIVC webinar Building airtightness improvements of the building stock- Analysis of European databases held on 19 January 2021, Adeline Melois from CEREMA (centre d’études et d’expertise sur les risques, l’environnement, la mobilité et l’aménagement), provided an analysis of the of the CEREMA building airtightness database growing annually by measurements performed and by qualified testers; the data presented focused mostly on new residential buildings (multi-family and single dwellings) and at the stage of commissioning. The speaker presented this data in charts showing the annual evolution of the test results from 2006 to 2018 including the number of buildings tested and the mean air permeability.
